Journey
[audio/visual installation]
"Journey is a 4 min. immersive audiovisual experience, telling the story of photons, primary elements of light, from the moment they approach the eye until the brain reconstructs them into perceivable forms.
Nohlab was invited by Culturespaces Digital to be a part of the Immersive Art Festival at Atelier des Lumieres, Paris. Using Atelier’s 140 video projectors, 50 speakers, 3,000 m2 of projection surface as a canvas, as a truly unique immersive experience, JOURNEY competed with 9 other international projects, and received the Grand Prix, Jury Special Prize and Best Sound Design Prize."

Arkhe
[interactive audio/visual installation]
"Throughout history, humanity has sought to understand the operating principles of nature's basic elements and the relationship between them in order to dominate nature, and to orient them to use for their benefit.
Alchemy emerges as an engagement of transition between the inner transformation of the human being which the ancient belief systems hassle and the transformation of the material that science derived from experimentation.
In the footsteps of Newton's efforts to combine alchemy with mechanics, the artwork tries to bring digital and alchemy together and to portray human control over nature through computer-machine interaction.
The person who experiences the work, controls the elements that are the essence of matter, as he masters the essence, he reveals it to experience the transformation, motion and harmony that may arise when interacting with other elements"

Edge of Government
[audio/visual installation]
"Starting off with the key concept Powered By You, Nohlab was invited by Designlab Experience to create an immersive audiovisual journey that captivates the visitors. A gradually forming energy stream modelled a path for the visitors, carrying them forward into a completely different time and space. The interactive area on the exit inspired people to not only observe, but also take action in it- shaping their surroundings with their force and energy fields."

Centralized
"’Centralized’ contemplates how authorities manipulate perceptions and change the reality that is experienced. Such systems in the future could be developed to easily control human beings by adapting them to new technologies—humans may become increasingly mechanical. We need to look at this situation from a dystopian perspective. A dystopia is feedback from the problems of humanity. Problems create solutions, solutions create problems. This feedback loop repeats endlessly in time and space. The good news is, we are able to experience a similar feedback system right now. So we still have time to change the centralized system.
A sound source is situated in a cyclic structure, essentially becoming a centralized control mechanism. Sound emanates from out of the center of a plexiglass cube. Microphones move according to a kinetic system, constantly changing their distance from a speaker—feedback intertwines.
The sound produced by this feedback is transmitted to three different boxes that can be placed over the head. Each box has a sound source and different sensory media such as light, scent and haptic material. These sensory media and sound combine to create a hybrid experience. The participant is placed in a nonexistent space and time, becoming part of the centralized system."

"Inspired by the natural phenomenon of horizon, a total of 21 LED panels, by the help of reflective surfaces on two ends, turn the limited area into a limitless space and present an everchanging time-space experience. The LED panels serve as light sources rather than displays, and the result harbours both order and disorder, calling the other into being."

SoTo
[video game]
"SoTo is a challenging hardcore puzzle game which you need a good plan to pass safely through the path of enemies. In order to collect the keys and unlock the locks, you need to adjust your timing well. If you want to get higher rankings on leaderboard, you should complete the stages as soon as possible."
